Two Brothers, One Shared Calling
The 2026 scholarship has been awarded to two brothers who stood out not for polish or achievement alone, but for a genuine willingness to grow, to serve others, and to step into something bigger than themselves. A Trip, Not a Holiday
A SunSmart spokesperson shared: "We didn't want to simply fund a trip. We wanted to give these two young students a chance to encounter something — spiritually, culturally — that changes how they see the world. If they come home grateful to God and looking for ways to pass that goodwill on, the scholarship has done its job."
Investing in Character, Not Just Achievement
This inaugural cohort marks the start of what SunSmart hopes will be an ongoing commitment to young people of promise. SunSmart looks forward to sharing how this first cohort's journey to Sabah unfolds, and to continuing the scholarship in the years ahead.
